Inspired by the weapon reputedly carried by the Danish king Godfred (Gudfred), who ruled from the great Viking emporium of Hedeby / Haithabu until his death in 810, this fully hand-forged sword captures the iconic form of early Viking arms: short forward-arched guard, wide fuller, and the classic three-lobed pommel.
*SK-B = “practical blunt” per Battle-Merchant classification (edge blunt, tip rounded; suitable for moderated contact sparring).
